Services
Our well-trained housekeeping, kitchen and medical staff look after our student body day in and day out to ensure their well-being.
The maintenance staff is responsible for the impeccable appearance of our campus and spacious sports facilities as well as carrying out numerous maintenance duties in the boarding houses.
Catering
Eating well and healthily is an important idea at our school and we take it very seriously. In cooperation with the school management, students, parents, boarding house staff and external advisors our Head of Food Services has drawn up a new food concept which guarantees an all-round standard of culinary excellence: choice, variety, quality, freshness, nutritional value and presentation.
Meal plan
With eight kitchen and six service staff we strive to offer our students, employees and guests a fresh, tasty, varied and creative range of savoury dishes. We mainly purchase our products regionally, directly from farmers, butchers, bakers and other suppliers in order to have the freshest food possible and to support local vendors.
On offer for day students
In the main morning break from 9:05 to 9:25, a snack is available in the dining hall. Students are required to register for the entire year at the beginning of the school year.

Health Centre
The Lyceum Alpinum has its own Health Centre with a small pharmacy with non-prescription medicines. In addition to two modern treatment rooms, we have 11 beds and a cosy kitchenette that can accommodate students. In the Health Centre, our students are competently treated for symptoms such as headache, sore throat, stomach aches and fever as well as smaller wounds and injuries. In the case of high fever and more severe issues, our students can be cared for as in-patients and thus recover. External medical appointments are efficiently arranged and coordinated.

Professional medical care
The school doctor and her team in Zuoz with in-house laboratory and X-ray support the Health Centre team. 24-hour emergency medical services and the Spital Oberengadin in Samedan, only a 10-minute drive from the school, as well as Klinik Gut, 20 minutes by car, complement the professional medical care for students.
Prevention and health promotion
Together with our in-house School Counsellor and our Student Support and Pastoral staff, the Health Centre team pays special attention to the physical and psychological well-being of the students and is always available to provide advice and support. Individual counselling sessions or training in groups are part of a comprehensive prevention and health promotion programme.

Housekeeping
The team consists of 20 staff responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of the school premises. It goes without saying that boarding house rooms, bathrooms, common rooms, classrooms, offices and corridors are cleaned daily.
Laundry
The laundry team consists of four staff who are responsible for students’ laundry as well as a significant part of the household laundry: washing, ironing and mrepairs, if required. Our professional tailor will make alterations to items of clothing on request. The special Wet-Clean system makes it possible to clean even very delicate items without them having to be dry-cleaned. Students’ clothes are labeled with their student number using the Thermo-Patch system which prevents loss or mix-ups. The laundry team coordinates and distributes household linen for all the boarding houses.
School Shop
The School Shop stocks everything students need for their studies: pens, pencils, exercise books, ring binders, study materials and textbooks. The wide range of products available is extended twice a year with new stock.
Purchased products are included in the students’s invoice.
Books
Students and teachers can order books for their courses or private use and these are delivered within a short space of time. This means that students who enter later in the school year can always obtain the materials they need.

Particularly popular with students, is the IT products catalogue. Orders can be placed with our suppliers for printers, loud speakers, USB flash disks, printer cartridges, etc. with delivery in a matter of a few days.
